Документ о принятии СССР Конвенции сдан на хранение Генеральному секретарю Межправительственной морской консультативной организации 09.01.1980. Конвенция вступила в силу для СССР 25.05.1980.

 

Украина приняла поправки 1981, 1989 и 1990 годов и Протокола  1988  года к Конвенции Постановлением Кабинета Министров N 350 от 26.06.1992
